This edition takes a look at defenseman Moritz Seider. He has the distinction of being the first Wings player drafted by Steve Yzerman. Seider, who turns 19 on April 6, is in his first year of pro hockey in North America. The 6-foot-4, 207-pound blue liner has two goals and 20 assists in 49 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins.
