The NHL draft is a little more than a week away and the Detroit Red Wings will have the ninth overall pick if they don't make a trade to move up or down in the first round.
What should they do?
They Red Wings obviously have many needs after missing the playoffs for the first time in 26 seasons but it's unlikely they'll get somebody with the ninth pick who can step into the lineup right away.
Not with so many prospects in Grand Rapids, where the Griffins just won the Calder Cup.
