Actually, of all the signings today, I think I was most giddy with the Chiarot signing after watching his gritty Bob Rouse/Jamie Macoun/Slava Fetisov type of defensive game in the 2021 SCFs when he played for Les Habs. Didn’t back down from anyone. Skated very well. Good lateral movement. Used his stick a lot to block shots. His puck-handling is…uh…hmmm…okay?
