PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Due to recent updates regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), USA Hockey Arena will be closed tonight beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET and remain closed until regularly scheduled activities on Sunday, March 15.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association ice hockey semifinals and finals that were scheduled to take place at USA Hockey Arena this weekend have been suspended.
During the lockdown, the entire building will be deep cleaned and additional sanitation stations will be installed, among other increased safety precautions.
In addition, the 2020 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship, scheduled to be played in Plymouth and Ann Arbor in April, will no longer take place.
