Tyler Bertuzzi and Anthony Mantha will have a chance to play some more hockey this spring.
The two forwards are among Detroit Red Wings who have been invited to play for Team Canada at next month’s IIHF World Championship. Andreas Athanasiou also has been invited, and is expected to go pending his health, general manager Ken Holland told the Free Press on Monday.
The U.S. team is similarly waiting to find out if Dylan Larkin is healthy enough to make a third straight appearance.
