Report: Detroit Red Wings have traded Anthony Mantha at the deadline

There are reports Detroit Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman has pulled off a huge trade.

Kevin Weekes, a former NHL goaltender who works for NHL.com, broke the news on Twitter shortly after the 3 p.m. deadline: "Hearing @DetroitRedWings are moving Mantha tom@Capitals for Panik / Vrana and more."

Mantha has 21 points in 42 games. He was signed in the offseason for four years, $22.8 million.

Jakub Vrana, 25, has 11 goals and 14 assists in 39 games. He was drafted 13th in 2014, two spots ahead of Dylan Larkin. Richard Panik, 30, has three goals and six assists in 36 games.
