DETROIT - The Detroit Pistons could use backcourt depth and another shooter. Langston Galloway would fill those needs.
The Pistons have agreed to a three-year deal worth $21 million with Galloway, a 6-foot-2 point guard who finished the season with the Sacramento Kings, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Saturday was the first day of free agency but teams can't sign players until Thursday.
Galloway, 25, averaged 7.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20.2 minutes per game with New Orleans (55 games) and Sacramento. He was part of the trade that sent DeMarcus Cousins from the Kings to the Pelicans.
