Filip Zadina is on the NHL's COVID-protocol absence list today

To catch you up, Filip Zadina joins Sam Gagner, Robby Fabbri, Adam Erne, and Jon Merrill on the Wings’ COVID Protocol list. Zadina traveled with the team to Chicago and this brings into question whether the Wings will be able to keep enough people off that list to keep playing games or whether we’ll start seeing postponements hit us as well.
Detroit started their season against Carolina, who immediately lost Jordan Staal to the protocol between games 1 and 2 and have since had their games postponed through tonight.
