Dominic Turgeon came into the 2017-18 season a little under the radar in terms of Red Wings prospects after an ok 2016-17 season (6G/12A in 71 games, 1G/1A in 19 playoff games). Last season he found himself with a more prominent role in Grand Rapids and rewarded that faith with a big jump in productivity, finishing the season 14 goals/18 assists in 69 games with the Griffins and even earning himself a five-game cup of coffee with the Red Wings in January.
