Red Wings Slay Kings 3-2, Larkin Goes Down Awkwardly

Detroit Red Wings 3 L.A. Kings 2

Summary In Eight Words Or Less:

Our entire season almost got scary.

Here’s What Happened:

A semi uneventful first period got started with a Tomas Tatar goal with a little under six minutes to play. However since the Red Wings can’t have nice things, the game was tied on a Jeff Carter shot and the two teams went into the first intermission tied 1-1.

It was strong play in the second that gave the Red Wings a 2-1 lead after Mike Green scored his first goal as a Red Wing on a beautiful wrist shot.
