The Detroit Red Wings have signed forward Anthony Mantha to a two-year contract.
Mantha led the team with 24 goals and picked up 48 points in 80 games last season. He has 43 goals and 87 points in 150 career NHL games.
The bridge deal means Mantha, who turns 24 on Sept. 16, will still be a restricted free agent when the contract expires in 2020.
