Filip Zadina has been recalled by the Red Wings, the team announced Saturday morning:
In addition to the move, the team assigned goalie Harri Sateri back to Grand Rapids.
This is an unsurprising move, as head coach Jeff Blashill said Friday night that the team planned to bring the 19-year-old winger up for Sunday’s afternoon game against the San Jose Sharks. Zadina has been on a tear with the Griffins lately — 11 points in his last game, and currently riding a seven-game point streak. The former sixth overall selection in the 2018 NHL Draft is slated to make his NHL debut Sunday afternoon in Detroit.
