The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed Martin Frk.

The restricted free agent got a one-year, two-way deal worth $650,00 in the NHL/$300,000 in the minors.

Frk, 23, is coming off a turbulent season that saw him go from twice-waived to hoisting the Calder Cup. He was the Grand Rapids’ Griffins leading goalscorer with 27 goals, and had a personal best with 50 points in 65 games. In the AHL playoffs, he was part of a hugely successful line with Tomas Nosek and Tyler Bertuzzi. Frk scored the game- and Cup-winning goal in Game 6 of the Calder Cup final against Syracuse.
