Ottawa, Ontario — Only two more games for the Red Wings.
After this game, thank goodness.
They didn’t get much going at all Tuesday in Ottawa, where the Senators defeated the Red Wings 2-0.
The Red Wings generated precious few quality scoring chances on their 24 shots at Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson — but the Senators didn’t exactly have many in their 24 shots, either.
Unlike the previous night at Joe Louis Arena, defense definitely ruled this game.
“Both sides had trouble generating a whole bunch of offense,” coach Jeff Blashill said.
