Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin set up two goals as the U.S. grabbed a win at the World Championship.
USA beat Denmark, 7-2, Sunday in Cologne, Germany, to improve to 1-1 in preliminary round action. USA is coached by Wings bench boss Jeff Blashill, and also features Wings defenseman Danny DeKeyser and goaltender Jimmy Howard.
Larkin had a hand in Anders Lee's power-play goal that made it 1-0 , and set up Johnny Gadreau during another power play to make it 3-1. Larkin, who is an alternate captain at the tournament, played on a line with Nick Schmaltz and Brock Nelson, logging 18:33 of ice time.
