Since last October, a web camera has taken pictures every 30 minutes, every day to capture construction of the Detroit Red Wing's Little Caesar Arena. The camera is mounted on the top of the Park Avenue House home of the Town Pump Tavern. Detroit Free Press
When former Detroit Red Wings left wing John Ogrodnick made his debut in the NHL, Joe Louis Arena was considered anything but antiquated.
“I was called up in January of ’80, and we’d actually just started playing in Joe Louis Arena,” Ogrodnick said at a recent charity event in Fraser.
