Raymond single-handedly beats Rangers in Red Wings' victory

The Detroit Red Wings pulled out a gutsy 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Sunday night. The win was a much-needed one after a brutal 5-4 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Sabres the night before.

The Red Wings came out hard, pounding the Rangers from the get-go. The effort was evident as the Wings outshot the Rangers 42-19.

But beyond the lopsided shot count, one player stood out: Lucas Raymond. Raymond single-handedly sank the Rangers. His efforts led to both Red Wings’ goals. With the game scoreless in the second, Raymond had apparently scored a power play goal.
