Shots told the story of the 1st period, 17-7 in favor of Vancouver with the Canucks up 1-0.
The two teams swapped goals in the 2nd, shots after 2 periods favored the Canucks 24-18.
Nyquist scored early in the 3rd an on to OT they went.
No scoring in the 5 minute OT and the Wings win it in a shootout, Larkin with the only goal.
