Helene’s recap from Saturday kind of brings to light a double-edged consideration here because it’s absolutely true that a win like this is kind of huge for a team in the position the Wings are in terms of kids gelling and working for each other, but Helene writing that the game was “dictated by how well the Wings played, start to finish” is not accurate. I’m glad the Wings won and yes, score effects played into things, but objectively I would not call that victory a complete game.
