Credit new goalie Thomas Greiss for keeping the 2021 opener close, but his teammates were not nearly as effective as the hope they built up during a two-week training camp.

It’s only one game, but there are definitely some signs for concern. For me, it was very frustrating seeing them not make any of the changes that were obvious when I was doing the power play series two seasons ago. It still looks terrible, and it shouldn’t look that bad.
