OK, maybe we fibbed a bit when we called this the best of Bob Probert's fight card. We obviously couldn't find video of every Probert fight during his NHL career – there were 246 in 16 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks – but we found a lot of them. And that 246 doesn't include preseason fights (although we included a couple) or junior hockey fights.
Probert was generally considered the undisputed heavyweight champion of the NHL for much of his career and young tough guys entering the NHL usually wanted to drop the gloves with Probert, who more often than not obliged even if he wasn’t in the mood to fight.
