Order of selection for all 11 Red Wings picks in NHL entry draft

The NHL released the order of selection for next weekend’s entry draft, in which the Detroit Red Wings currently hold 11 picks.

The draft lottery left them with a first-round selection at ninth overall. That will be made June 23 at United Center in Chicago.

Day 2, June 24, will be a busy day for Wings director of amateur scouting Tyler Wright and his advisers: The Wings pick 38th, 71st, 79th, 83rd, 88th, 100th, 131st, 162nd, 164th, and 193rd.

The Wings have three selections in the third round. Their first one would have been at 69th, but that now belongs to Arizona, which got it from the San Jose Sharks, who got it in return for last year’s Dylan Sadowy trade.
