The Detroit Red Wings are undergoing personnel changes on their amateur scouting staff, part of the re-organization under new general manager Steve Yzerman.
Yzerman spoke last month of how he’d had more time to spend scouting last season after stepping back as GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning. That intensified after he took control of the Wings on April 19, as drafting well is tantamount to rebuilding the franchise.
