NHL Rumors: Nashville Predators and the Detroit Red Wings

Adam Vingan of The Tennessean: Viktor Arvidsson and the Nashville Predators are scheduled to have an arbitration hearing on Saturday, with a ruling by Monday. The sides can agree to a deal anytime before the ruling.

Reports are the Predators offered a two-year deal at $2.75 million per, with Arvidsson asking for a one-year deal at $4.5 million.

A comparable for Arvidsson’s camp could be Florida Panthers Vincent Trocheck‘s six-year deal with a $4.75 million cap hit.

A shorter term comparable could be Ottawa Senators Mark Stone and his three-year, $10.
