After more than two decades of being a presence in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Detroit Red Wings are in the midst of a major overhaul. That began under veteran GM Ken Holland last season, with the Wings trading the expiring contracts of Gustav Nyquist and Nick Jensen at the trade deadline for draft picks and prospects and will continue under new boss Steve Yzerman.
