NHL Draft 2017: Detroit Red Wings select Malte Setkov with No. 100 pick

With the 100th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, the Red Wings select defenseman Malte Setkov out of Denmark.

Here’s what we know:

Setkov is a 6’4” left-handed defenseman playing with the Malmo Redhawks in the Superelit league. He had 12 points in 38 games last season. Setkov was not ranked among the main scouting services. We don’t know much about Setkov because of that. I personally have never seen him play. Here’s what I dug up using a google search:
