Mrazek keeps his cool in adversity

It is observed by his teammates and coaches that among Petr Mrazek's considerable strengths is an ability to shake off bad goals that compares well even with NHL goalies who are more experienced at both hockey and life.

That self-possession came in handy at 17:30 of the first period Tuesday, when Evander Kane blew down the right wing and fired an unobstructed, untipped wrist shot right by Mrazek, from about 35 feet. It was a bad goal.

Having entered the game fifth in the NHL with a .932 save percentage, he had not yielded too many of those.
