This year has not been kind to Ilitch-owned sports teams. The Detroit Tigers went 47-114, posting a .292 winning percentage that is the second-worst mark in team history. But at least those Tigers were winning games early in the season.

The Detroit Red Wings, however, have lost 13 of their past 16 games (including a point-earning overtime loss) to fall to 5-12-1 after 18 games.
