The Flint Firebirds managed a split in the first two games of the Western Conference final in the Ontario Hockey League.
After beating the Windsor Spitfires 4-3 in Game 1 of the WFCU Center on Saturday, the Firebirds dropped a 7-2 decision in Windsor on Monday.
Matthew Maggio and Will Cuylie scored two goals apiece for the Spitfires. Riley Piercey and Amadeus Lombardi scored for Flint. Westland's Gavin Hayes had one assist.
Game 3 of the series is Wednesday in Flint at 7 p.
