Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg will lend his veteran leadership skills as the official captain for Team Sweden at the World Cup of Hockey. He recently spoke with Hockeysverige about the upcoming tournament he will be a part of which begins on Sept. 17 and extends through Oct. 1 just before the NHL preseason gets started.
With Zetterberg serving as his team’s captain, it can be a tough task with so many personalities on the roster. He mentioned his role in the recent interview saying, “It will probably be a similar role I have in Detroit.
