If you're a Detroit Red Wings fan, you're going to like this:
Showing at the 2019 Freep Film Festival, 'Tough Guy: The Bob Probert Story' opens at the Patriot Theater at the War Memorial in Grosse Pointe, and at Emagine Theatres in Michigan starting Thursday (watch the trailer below).
The film presents an intimate portrait of the life and career of Probert, who played for the Red Wings in 1985-94, and was one half of the "Bruise Brothers" with teammate Joey Kocur.
It adds heartbreaking complexity to the Red Wings enforcer and all-time penalty leader, who died in 2010 of heart failure.
