Anthony Mantha has a bruise on his left cheekbone, but being a hockey player, he isn’t expecting to miss time.

Mantha practiced Friday with a face shield to protect the damage inflicted when he took a puck to the face during Thursday’s 3-2 overtime loss to Buffalo. Mantha was to get a second opinion but early reports indicate a fracture, either to the cheekbone or orbital bone.
