Flurry of Detroit Red Wings activity on Day 2 of 2017 NHL Draft

CHICAGO -- The opening day of the draft saw the Detroit Red Wings get bigger down the middle when they drafted 6-foot-6 center Michael Rasmussen at ninth overall.

The Wings enter today’s rounds 2-7 at United Center with 10 picks, four of them in the third round.
