DETROIT - It wasn't difficult to determine how eager Filip Zadina is for his NHL preseason debut tonight.
The words "excited, huge and awesome" rolled off his tongue frequently while speaking to media following the Detroit Red Wings morning skate at Little Caesars Arena. They face the Chicago Blackhawks at 7:30 on Fox Sports Detroit Plus.
"For sure, I'm so excited about this game, it's going to be huge game against Chicago, that was my favorite team when I was growing up," Zadina said. "It's going to be huge game. Excited about it. Ready for it. Hopefully, we'll play well and able to win my first game at home.
