Dylan McIlrath Recalled By The Detroit Red Wings

DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings today recalled defenseman Dylan McIlrath from the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins and placed defenseman Trevor Daley on injured reserve retroactive to Nov. 2.

McIlrath, 27, has skated in 10 games with the Griffins in 2019-20, notching three points (0-3-3) and 15 penalty minutes. He has appeared in 50 NHL games since making his NHL debut in the 2013-14 season, totaling five points (3-2-5) and 98 penalty minutes with the New York Rangers, Florida Panthers and Red Wings. The 6-foot-5, 231-pound blueliner made his Red Wings debut on March 25, 2019 at San Jose and appeared in seven games with the team in 2018-19, posting a plus-two rating and four penalty minutes.
