That goes for the stat sheet as well as the impact he's had in a short time with the Detroit Red Wings. The former Michigan State star forward led the nation with 50 points and he's showing that knack at the pro level. He has recorded an assist in each of his four NHL games since signing a two-year, entry-level contract.
