Per Ansar Khan of MLive.com, the Detroit Red Wings have re-signed Restricted Free Agent Anthony Mantha to a 2 year 6.6 Million dollar deal.
The power forward is expected to take a step in the right direction this year. At times, Mantha seemed to put forth little effort, but the Red Wings need Anthony to be a much more consistent player.
The effort needs to be there on a nightly basis. I’ve always expected Anthony Mantha to score and produce offensively but the inconsistent play has attributed to his inability to reach the 30 Goal mark thus far in his young career.
