NASHVILLE — Dylan Larkin has a new nickname for linemate Anthony Mantha.

Larkin, Mantha and Tyler Bertuzzi form the Detroit Red Wings’ first and funniest line, fostering speed, grit and power. They dominated the season opener, scoring first and last in the 5-3 victory over the Nashville Predators Saturday at Bridgestone Arena.

Mantha made it 2-0 midway through the first period when he picked up the puck in his own zone and strode up the middle, splitting defenders in his way.
