The Detroit Red Wings have lost another player to a hand injury.
Coach Jeff Blashill said after Tuesday’s 6-5 shootout loss that defenseman Danny DeKeyser will be out “multiple weeks.”
DeKeyser was injured during the second period at Little Caesars Arena when he was hit in the left hand by a puck fired by Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos.
Blashill said he would have more information Wednesday, but the fact he already ruled DeKeyser out for weeks doesn’t bode well.
