It’s possible but not probable we’ll see more action from the Wings before today’s 3 p.m. deadline. Gustav Nyquist was flipped overnight for a 2019 second-round pick and a conditional 2020 third-round pick; that followed Friday’s trade of Nick Jensen that yielded a 2020 second-round pick and defense prospect Madison Bowey.
Both became expendable as the Wings were unable to reach common ground during contract extension talks.
