Niklas Kronwall retains a hope, albeit faint, of seeing Henrik Zetterberg play another game.
More than any teammate in the Detroit Red Wings’ locker room, Kronwall knows how Zetterberg has struggled because of back problems.
“I’ve known that he’s had a rough summer and you feel for him,” Kronwall said Thursday after an informal skate at Little Caesars Arena. “He just battled through it.
