Detroit Red Wings and Grand Rapids Griffins both Blown Out

The Boston Bruins utterly destroyed the Detroit Red Wings Saturday afternoon. It was more than an embarrassing effort; it was a catastrophic performance. The Detroit Red Wings would fall 8-2 to Boston.

After the second period, the Bruins were up 4-0 and continued to pour it on. Jonathan Bernier played the entire afternoon allowing all 8 goals. Detroit would score their pair in the third period. Filip Hronek scored on the power play from Tyler Bertuzzi and Gustav Nyquist.
