Last season was supposed to be the season to really get a good luck at what Evgeny Svechnikov could contribute to the Detroit Red Wings. Unfortunately, he was sidelined all season with an ACL injury in his right knee that required surgery. he worked hard to recover in time to play at the end of the season, but the timeline didn’t work for the 22 year old.
