Dan Renouf scored two goals to help lead the Grand Rapids Griffins past the host Syracuse Crunch, 3-2, tonight in Game 4 of the American Hockey League’s Calder Cup Final.
The Griffins lead the best-of-seven series, 3-1. Game 5 is Saturday at Syracuse, N.Y. The Griffins can clinch the championship with one more victory.
Games 6 and 7, if necessary, would be at Grand Rapids next week.
Ben Street also scored for the Griffins on Friday, and Eric Tangradi added two assists.
Jared Coreau made 31 saves.
