Nyquist scores twice, Zetterberg notches two assists, but 3-0 hole too big to climb out of; Mrazek stops 25 shots.

TORONTO -- The Detroit Red Wings again found a way to make a game close only to come away empty.

Gustav Nyquist scored twice and Henrik Zetterberg had two assists Tuesday at Air Canada Centre, but the Wings still lost, 3-2, to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

“This team has shown lots of character all year in terms of staying with it and continuing to grind,” coach Jeff Blashill said before echoing his comments from the previous loss.
