Viewed as one of the worst Red Wings contract decisions in recent memory, Andrew Copp may still have a chance at redemption in Detroit.

Andrew Copp has been one of the most ridiculed members of the Detroit Red Wings since joining the team in 2022.

Almost immediately after signing his 5-year, $28.125 million deal with Detroit, the Hockeytown faithful viewed it as an overpay. Copp was coming off a career year with the Winnipeg Jets and New York Rangers, posting 21 goals and 53 points along with stout two-way play.
