I came to Gothenburg, of course, to watch and speak with four of the six Frölunda prospects the Red Wings have drafted over the past three seasons (Gustav Berglund is no longer with Frölunda, and Lucas Raymond is already in the NHL). I picked a good week to come, too: Over the course of that three-game homestand, Elmer Söderblom scored in each game — including a big-time tiebreaking goal Saturday — Theodor Niederbach scored three times, Simon Edvinsson had an assist and displayed sublime two-way instincts, and Liam Dower Nilsson got some steady run in two SHL games while continuing to pile up the points against his peers in the J20 league.
