With Pistons' Reggie Jackson back, roles have changed behind him

AUBURN HILLS -- With Reggie Jackson back, the Detroit Pistons' starting five can be categorized as healthy and whole again.

But that means diminished roles for the two guys behind him, Ish Smith and Beno Udrih, who held down the fort during the first 21 games, and did so exceptionally well at times.

Smith reverts to his original backup role, the reason the Pistons signed him to a three-year, $18 million contract over the summer.

"Nah, I didn't feel any different," Smith said Sunday after the Pistons' 98-92 loss to the Orlando Magic. "I just get it and go.
