Warriors, Celtics bring polish, grit to NBA Finals matchup

Well, it’s not quite the superstar-studded love fest that many experts had predicted for the NBA Finals. The Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns and defending-champion Milwaukee Bucks are all gone. The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t even make the playoffs.

It’s down to the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors for the NBA championship — and no one should feel cheated by that. Although it’s not the huge marquee matchup that some wanted when the postseason began, there’s some intrigue that goes with these two teams.

The Warriors are back in the Finals after a two-year absence, and they look to be picking up right where they left off, with their string of six straight Finals appearances.
