Newly hired General Manager of the Detroit Pistons Troy Weaver has his first difficult task on the horizon with the NBA Draft.
On June 18th, 2020, the Detroit Pistons hired their new general manager, officially filling the position after Ed Stefanski was the de facto general manager for two seasons.
Troy Weaver joins the Pistons from the Oklahoma City Thunder where he was the Assistant GM and Vice President since 2010 until he was promoted to the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
